argentinaThe ministry of economics and finances in Argentina (ECON) stated that the Argentinian financial regulator has recently issued warning to lots of brokers. However, there is one thing that you need to know and this thing is that forex is strictly forbidden in Argentina. Actually there is a really tight control over what can and can’t be offered to the clients.

If you want to fund your account with foreign brokers, you have to know that this whole operation is really hard simply because transferring money outside the country is well restricted.

The warning of ECON was towards Saxo Bank, MFX and AnyOption. Here is what ECON warned them. Saxo Bank was forced immediately to stop and operations that were overtaking on the territory of Argentina. Plus it had to stop inviting people to start trading with foreign exchange rates because this is illegal and any breaking of this wall will be considered as fraud.

Forex Brokers in Argentina

Saxo Bank was also told that it does not have the authority to trade on the territory of Argentina. The platform of Master Forex had to do the same thing. Any person or company who wants to deal with forex trading on the territory of Argentina should be warned that this is illegal and it is not recommended because if you get caught you will be sued. There are many countries worldwide that forbid forex trading and due to this fact it is really important to read additional information before initiating forex trading in the nation you have chosen.

Due to those strict regulations, any major brokers out there were asked to add a message on their websites, stating that they do not accept clients from Argentina and their services are not intended for Argentinian people.

Many Forex companies tried to respond to those attacks by saying that they have never performed any illegal activities on the territory of Argentina. However, the ministry of economics and finance managed to achieve its goal and now forex trading in Argentina is strictly forbidden. Once again, if you have wanted to trade there – you’d better don’t because first you will have problems with money transfer and second, if you get caught you will be sued and might even go to jail.

There are lots of other countries which are far more “attractive” when it comes to forex trading, Argentina is just not the type you would like to get involved with.
