Empire Option

Empire Option is owned by Hortense Holdings Limited and use SpotOption software platform. You can trade a wide range of stocks, commodities, indices and currencies.

EmpireOption is a fairly young binary options broker that was established in 2010. The company's headquarters are located in Uruguay, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that most of the broker's customers are from Latin America, but there are also a good number of English speakers who use this operator's services due to the multi-lingual website, trading platform and support staff. EmpireOption isn't regulated, but this shouldn't come as a surprise since only a few binary option brokers are regulated.

Platforms & Features

This broker uses one of the most popular trading platforms - SpotOption. Traders using EmpireOption's services report that the trading platform is very user-friendly and the fact that it is completely web-based allows you to easily execute trades via a smartphone, tablet or another mobile device. Despite the many positives that can be said about EmpireOption, there is one major setback - this broker doesn't allow trading via a demo account unless you deposit more than $2,000. This is why many beginner traders avoid using EmpireOption's services, but you shouldn't have any problems if you are an experienced trader. Despite this fact, EmpireOption's platform still gives you access to the most important technical tools and data, so the lack of a demo account shouldn't be a major problem for most traders.

Trading Assets

Currently, EmpireOption allows its traders to execute traders with 52 types of assets, including 14 stocks, 12 currencies, 22 indices and 4 commodities. The number isn't so impressive, but you'll have access to the most widely traded types of assets, so you probably won't notice that there are just 52 types of assets. As for expiry time, it can range from 15 minutes to the end of the trading day for regular types of options. Keep in mind that EmpireOption also allows trading with 60-second options.

Trading Reliability

If you search the web, you'll find some complaints about EmpireOption. First of all, this broker accepts only three payment methods - credit/debit card, wire transfer and Moneybookers (Skrill). The minimum deposit is $100 and the amount of your investment will determine what type of membership you'll get - Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum. Platinum members are entitled to benefits such as cheaper & faster withdrawals, demo account, phone operations, personal account executive and more. The rate of returns ranges from 65% to 75% and you'll have the opportunity to take advantage of a 10% option refund.

Bonus Offers

Currently, the bonuses offered by EmpireOption aren't very attractive. One of the popular offers is "Refer a Friend". In this situation, both the referral and the referred user receive a bonus of $50. The trader must use the bonus to generate a trading volume worth 30 times the amount of the bonus in order to withdraw the earnings.
